This site is a tribute to John Tillinghast, who was born in Barnet on 16 April 1943. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

As a family we would like to express our gratitude to the many people who have sent cards, messages, letters, tokens and phoned us.  We are deeply touched by your responses and so many shared memories.  They have reinforced what a special person John was.

John passed as he wished....peacefully at home with me holding his hand, having seen both sons online or in person just hours earlier.

We hope to be in touch with you all over time.
